That Valentine’s Day Gift

Every year I bake for my coworkers.
Apparently homemade presents are considered to be more real.
As if there’s such a thing as a fake valentine’s day gift.
Or maybe there is?
Anyways, it’s great because I love baking.
This year I made Double Chocolate Muffins for them.
The best recipe ever…
mix everything in a bowl and bake!
Easy peasy 😀

I also pulled out my craft box and made some cards
with my favorite stamp set.
(I’ve had these since I was in grade school, I think.)
Wrote a message on the back of the card,
added a vitamin drink to balance out the health factor and
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

That New Years Family Photo

January 1st, 2011
It’s the year of rabbit and
our family is finally all together for new years.
Of course, we once again took our nengajo photos on the first day of the year
when most people’s nengajo are already delivered to our post box.
So…you’ve been warned.
They will get there around the 5th…hopefully. haha.
Wishing you a great year in 2011 😀

That Evening at Ebisu Garden Place

We meet again.
I don’t even remember when we began this tradition
of meeting in front of the Baccarat chandelier at Ebisu Garden Place.
But it’s one of my favorite holiday traditions now 🙂

This year, the chandelier was made of 8,472 pieces of crystal and 250 lights.
No wonder it’s so bright…almost blinding!
Although we see each other at the tennis tournaments
everything is always so chaotic and busy.
It’s nice to get together like this to catch up over tea.
Especially before the holidays.
See you again next year in front of the chandelier! xx
